I have worked with people presenting a different range of psychological problems, from long-term mental problems such as psychosis, bipolar, and personality disorders to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, addiction, low self-esteem, and many other conditions that trouble the modern world. I mostly use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness.

ADHD Assessment & Testing

Anxiety Disorders

Anxiety disorder is a general term for a group of mental health conditions characterized by excessive or unrealistic feelings of fear, worry, or nervousness.

OCD

It is a type of anxiety disorder in which a person experiences persistent and recurring thoughts, impulses, or images (obsessions) that cause anxiety or distress.

Depression

Depression is a mental health disorder characterized by persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and loss of interest in activities. It can also cause physical symptoms such as changes in appetite and sleep patterns.

Personality Disorders

A mental health condition characterized by a long-term, inflexible pattern of thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and interpersonal functioning that deviates from cultural and societal expectations.

Self-harm

The act of intentionally causing physical harm to oneself. This can take many forms, such as cutting, burning, or hitting oneself, or engaging in other forms of self-injury.

Suicidal ideation

Suicidal ideation refers to thoughts about, or an unusual preoccupation with, wanting to take one’s own life. It can range from a passing thought to a detailed plan, and it can be described as passive, active or aggressive.

Eating Disorders

A group of conditions characterized by abnormal or disturbed eating habits. The most common eating disorders are Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and Binge Eating Disorder.

Addictions

Addiction is a condition in which a person has an overpowering desire to continue using a substance or engaging in a behavior despite the harm it causes. Addictions can take many forms, such as addiction to drugs, alcohol, nicotine, food, gambling, sex, and other activities.

Burn Out

A state of physical, emotional, and mental exhaustion caused by prolonged stress. It can occur as a result of prolonged exposure to excessive and prolonged occupational demands and pressures that are not matched to the individual’s resources and coping mechanisms.

Stress-related disorders

A group of mental health conditions that are caused or exacerbated by stress. These conditions can manifest in various ways, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
